Excellent Recyclability
The paper can be recycled because the pulp dissociation is not a complication - it doesn't bond much and doesn't leave any pollutants behind.
The product with the applied coating can be disposed of in the conventional rubbish bin for cardboard items.
Cost reduction (production and application)
Compared to ordinary paper cups (PE, PLA) or other alternatives - the EFC coating has no cost disadvantage compared to the "eco-friendly alternatives" on offer
It can also be easily integrated into existing systems.
Not harmful
The drying of the coating does not cause plastic to char, so the occurrence of carcinogens and microplastics can be significantly minimized.
Applicability
The coating, used in paper cups, can be used for hot drinks, cold drinks, yoghurt products, etc. Contact with food, in food bowls e.g. B. for instant noodles is also one of many applications to be highlighted.
Based on this coating, an adhesive for kraft paper was developed - which has the same recycling properties and also convinces with high adhesiveness.
